A look back at Destination Canada in Paris and Douala

Destination Canada Mobility Forum, organized by the Government of Canada, is a recruitment fair dedicated to bilingual skilled workers. This year, the event took place in Paris, France on February 14 and 15, 2025 and in Douala, Cameroon – from February 18 to 20, 2025. There was also an online session from 3 to 5 March 2025.

Very active participation

CDEM met with a total of 1650 candidates who participated in Destination Canada. This annual event connected employers in Canada’s predominantly English-speaking provinces with bilingual talent from a variety of sectors.

The CDEM teams as well as the Province of Manitoba and RDÉE Canada were present in Paris and Douala. They met with many candidates and discussed employment and entrepreneurship opportunities in Manitoba. More than a hundred positions to be filled were presented to potential candidates.
