Carole Tetreault

What products or services do you offer?

I offer holistic healing through tools like shamanic practices, energy work, yoga, spiritual coaching, workshops and retreats.

What is your market?

My market is mostly women who are on their healing journey and looking for ways to connect with spirit to assist them.

How did your business idea come about?

15 years ago my business started as a wellness bed and breakfast (Calder House) with retreats and energy therapies available during your stay.  In the last five years, we rebranded to Shine Your Light, a business now catering to the needs of women looking for guidance and healing on their wellness journey.

How do you make sure you can achieve your goals?

To be honest I’m not a big fan of goals. I like to live in the present.  As each moment arrives, I make sure I’m 100% committed and focused on serving in the best way I know how.

What is your vision for your business in ten years?

In ten years, I see myself continuing to live with joy, passion and heart, supporting women who are dedicated to shining their light.  If the methods require change, then the business will change with the flow.

Tell us about your team.

For the most part I am a solopreneur. I do however collaborate with some great women from time to time to create and facilitate offerings.  And when I’m working with clients, I have a whole team of spirit guides who love to assist.

What other local businesses inspire you and why?

I’m inspired by all those that use their unique gifts to share with the world in all corners of our planet Earth. Their gifts and offerings are needed. And let’s face it, when we love what we do, we do what we love.

One thing people don’t know or know little about you?

In my line of work, my stories are the way in which I share my teachings.  So I am extremely transparent.

What is your biggest fear? How do you deal with this fear?

I don’t really have any fears or concerns. If something or someone ruffles my feathers, then I center myself, ground, breathe and wrap the event or person in a big pink bubble of love.
