KOMERA INC. is a food company created in Manitoba in May 2019. It produces a seasoned hot pepper sauce called KOMERA Original. Originally, from Burundi, Claude honors his mother tongue by calling his product KOMERA, which means, « be strong » and « be healthy ». It is also a greeting in Kirundi. After launching the product in five stores in Winnipeg in 2019, the KOMERA brand continues to expand in other cities such as Quebec City, Montreal, Gatineau, Edmonton and Calgary. Now you can buy the hot pepper sauce in 32 stores in Canada. The company aims to grow even further by diversifying and creating new flavors in the category of mild peppers to satisfy new customers.
Stable Connections is a private, bilingual Manitoba therapy clinic that provides occupational, speech-language pathology and physiotherapy services in partnership with horses (hippotherapy) in an inclusive, family-friendly, motivating, enriching and natural environment. As a certified occupational therapist, Sarah-Michelle Senécal created Stable Connections in 2017. With a team of 5 employees and 8 horses, Stable Connections welcomes and helps children and adults of all ages by offering a unique rehabilitation program, including a mind/body approach to trauma resolution, as well as mental health services. This rehabilitation program has also been available internationally. In May 2019, Stable Connections travelled to Ukraine to teach its techniques and help therapists support veterans, war orphans and refugees.

Atomic Flower Cannabis is the first bilingual recreational cannabis retail store owned and operated by Franco-Manitobans. Typha Co’s products are intended to address a growing market gap among environmentally conscious growers, our products will be perceived as the most environmentally friendly alternative. The act of consumption will in itself become an effort of environmental stewardships, leading to sustained long-term remediation efforts.
