Hybrid Incubator Centre

As CDEM nears its 30th anniversary and unveils its new strategic plan, Pursuing Excellence. Building the Future., it is proud to introduce the first phase of the Hybrid Incubator Centre—a groundbreaking platform for entrepreneurs created in partnership with Nivå10.

The genesis of the Hybrid Incubator Centre is rooted in the experience, expertise, and support that CDEM has provided to numerous bilingual Francophone entrepreneurs since its inception. These entrepreneurs are familiar with youth camps and workshop programs offered through schools, as well as business students launching products and services, local bilingual Francophone entrepreneurs, newcomers, women, and others who benefit from CDEM’s business support services and employment and talent recruitment programs. CDEM has been there to guide them throughout their journey.

What is it?

The Hybrid Incubator Centre will offer a wide range of services: tools, strategic support, mentorship, workshops, networking opportunities, and personalized follow-up with industry professionals. These services and products will be available to entrepreneurs—particularly SMEs—throughout Manitoba, with priority given to bilingual municipalities and CLOSMs (Official Language Minority Communities). The program will begin virtually and later be available in person at CDEM and in rural areas, depending on the municipality. More details will be shared at the official launch.

Who is this program for?

This incubator program is intended for professional businesses across Manitoba that are committed to their success. Interested entrepreneurs must complete an eligibility questionnaire to determine if their business qualifies for the program.

CDEM is proud to support entrepreneurs—the key to community economic development in bilingual municipalities and CLOSMs—for nearly 30 years.

How to register?

The official platform will launch in Fall 2025. The program is open exclusively to Manitoba residents.
