Job Posting: Marketing and Communications Agent

CDEM is seeking dynamic, independent and creative candidates to fill the position of Marketing and Communications Agent. Candidates must be bilingual (oral and written).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, write and post quality content and ensure a consistent voice on CDEM and Bonjour Manitoba’s social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn);
  • Create content for CDEM and Bonjour Manitoba’s websites and update them regularly;
  • Work closely with the various CDEM sectors, particularly the tourism sector, for the promotion of its programs and develop appropriate tools;
  • Write, design and order various printed materials (posters, flyers, ads);
  • Promote and coordinate CDEM events such as the Fosse aux lions, golf tournament and Movies Under the Stars;
  • Coordinate visual materials (slides, posters, banners) and promotional material for special events (press conferences, job fairs, etc.);
  • Provide logistical and technical support for virtual events (webinars, workshops, meetings, etc.) ;
  • According to the communications strategy, develop an editorial calendar for various social platforms;
  • Gather analytical data on CDEM’s website and social media and interpret the results in order to enhance the communications strategy;
  • Monitor the latest trends in digital marketing and social media;
  • Perform any other reasonable task as assigned by the manager

Requirements :

  • University or college diploma in communications, marketing, administration, multimedia, tourism or equivalent experience ;
  • Fluency in French and English, oral and written;
  • Knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Excellent writing, research, marketing and communication skills;
  • Basic knowledge of graphic design (Photoshop, InDesign, Canva) is an asset;
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously;
  • Ability to work in a team environment;
  • A valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle is an asset.
