Francine Ekyemba

How old are you?

I am 35 years old.

Where do you live?

I live in Winnipeg.

Can you describe your company?

We are a musical group that aims to pass on its talent to other people. We offer training to learn how to use musical instruments, singing, and promotion through the different platforms and on our official website.

Who is your target audience?

As music has no age, it is the same way that our clientele is not limited. A parent who wants their 9-year-old son to start learning to play the piano, or a 45-year-old adult who wants to learn music for his fine motor skills, everyone is entitled to benefit from our services. In short, our services are for people of all ages and cultures in Winnipeg, and for those who want to learn how to play  a musical instrument or record a sound. But for now, we’re more focused on young teenagers.

How did the idea for your company come about?

Seeing the needs of young people in the community, we had this idea to support talent.

What tools do you use most in your business?

We use social media a lot to look for other music companies, musician friends and support.

Which local businesses inspire you?

Quest Musique and St John’s Music

Do you plan to continue your studies at university? If so, in what area?

I’m not thinking about it right now, maybe in the future.
